About the Role
Stable Sea is hiring a Business Development Associate to work directly with the founding team across account management, partnerships, and special projects.
This is a high-exposure, high-learning role for someone who wants to understand how an early-stage fintech actually operates — from customer relationships and deal execution to internal coordination and project delivery. You'll be trusted with real responsibility early and will stretch across BD, customer success, and light operations as the business scales.
If you're curious, organized, and excited to learn by doing, this role is designed to grow with you.
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day account management for a growing set of customers and partners, ensuring follow-through, responsiveness, and trust.
- Support active deals and partnerships, helping track next steps, coordinate stakeholders, and keep momentum moving.
- Act as connective tissue between BD, product, engineering, compliance, and operations on customer-driven initiatives.
- Help manage projects and pilots, including timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in processes and help improve how we work as we scale.
- Jump in on ad hoc priorities — when something important needs to get done, you help make it happen.
What You Bring
- 0–3 years of experience in business development, account management, operations, consulting, or a related role (or a strong new grad with relevant internships).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you're clear, responsive, and professional.
- High organizational skills and attention to detail; you like keeping things moving and on track.
- A builder mindset: you're comfortable with ambiguity, take initiative, and don't need everything spelled out.
- Curiosity about fintech, payments, or technology-driven businesses.
- Ability to work across functions and build trust with both customers and internal teams.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to fintech, payments, crypto, or enterprise software.
- Experience using tools like CRM systems, project management software, or spreadsheets to track work.
- Comfort working with executives or senior stakeholders.
- Interest in growing into a future role in BD, partnerships, product, or operations.
Why Join Stable Sea
- Work directly with founders and senior leaders at an early-stage fintech.
- Gain hands-on exposure to customers, deals, product decisions, and operations.
- A clear path to grow as the company scales (BD, account management, ops, or beyond).
- Remote-friendly environment with flexibility and ownership.
- Competitive compensation and meaningful upside.
