Small businesses represent 99.9% of all companies, yet they're still forced to choose between clunky, outdated enterprise phone systems or their personal phones. This multi-billion dollar market has been overlooked for decades, left to cobble together solutions that slow them down instead of helping them grow.
Quo is changing that. We bring calls, texts, and customer information together into one easy-to-use, AI-powered platform. We’re not just building a phone system. We’re setting a new standard for how businesses connect with their customers.
Driven by our values, we move fast, build with determination, and obsess over delivering value to the businesses that have been underserved for far too long.
Today, Quo is trusted by more than 90,000 companies and rated #1 in customer satisfaction on G2. We’re backed by Y Combinator, Tiger Global, Craft Ventures, Slow Ventures, and other top-tier investors. It’s safe to say we’re onto something big.

About the role

Quo is looking for a strategic and hands-on Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead and scale our email and in-app engagement efforts.
You’ll play a crucial role in the strategy, execution, and performance of our campaigns. And you'll ensure that the tens of millions of messages we send each year deliver personal, relevant experiences to each audience.
You’ll partner closely with the Customer Success, Partnerships, Design, Content, and Product Marketing teams to bring campaigns to life and optimize performance. If you’re energized by moving fast, blending creativity with data, and want to help us build world-class customer lifecycle journeys, we’d love to meet you.

Some of the things you’ll do:

  • Own the entire customer lifecycle journey, from pre-trial through retention and referral
  • Partner closely with other teams to help drive activation, feature adoption, upsell, expansion and net revenue retention
  • Create personalized messaging strategies based on user segments, behaviors, and attributes
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to inform optimization efforts
  • Work with the Product Marketing and Product teams to effectively communicate new features and updates to the right user segments
  • Run A/B tests to optimize conversion rates and campaign performance
  • Assist with maintaining data hygiene and list management best practices
  • Ensure that our lifecycle efforts align with the latest email marketing best practices and deliverability standards
  • Help establish and document lifecycle marketing processes and playbooks

About you

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in lifecycle, including hands-on experience building and optimizing campaigns, ideally with a focus on B2B or SaaS
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution
  • Proven track record of building and executing experiments, including creative testing and personalization
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills
  • Experience working with the templating language Liquid
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, test-and-learn environments
  • Familiar with deliverability best practices
  • Quick learner, actively adopting AI tools in your workflow
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Deep experience with customer.io preferred; experience with Amplitude and familiarity with SQL a plus
